Hi LCC, I am sorry to hear about your elevated blood glucose. The best thing that you can do right now is to get a blood glucose test kit to monitor your BG at home. You will immediately be able to see the relationships bewteen what you eat, how much you move, and your BG levels. I am Type II and have shed 40 pounds in a year, my BG levels are Normal (like normal person normal) by following low carb and monitoring my BG levels.

Next time your doc takes your labs make him think you are "normal". !

Good luck !
