Like I said – I play the short game well.
Not so much the long game.
Despite losing 10 pounds (yay!) the diet went completely off the rails on this day – pizza, KFC, wine. Tallies went out the window.
The only thing I can do is not delude myself that it is anything except a total failure and start again tomorrow.
Thank you so much for reporting on your full journey. Too often the internet gives us only the big reveal ending instead of the complicated ups and downs of weight loss. It helps to know I’m not alone trying to figure out what my body needs vs. what my mind/emotions want.
I’ve been reading your blog for a number of years and really enjoy your introspective humor and perspective on trying to lose weight via low carb.
You should prevent yourself from getting too hungry when it is hard to keep a perfect control.
When I come home without eating almost nothing whole day, I try to eat something very small but fatty before meal than wait a little bit. May be somebody would find it an odd choice, but frozen bacon is a grate appetite diminisher, or 2 – 3 slices of cheese with a thick layer of butter.
This is good advice that might work for me. Thanks.
